The Empire Bath was the first cast iron bath mass produced,the first signs of social reconition and the virtues of "the bath". Its silhouette and depth are stuided to make this bath ideal for hydrotherapy.The cast iron is used for its quailty of conductivity and strenth, succeeding to the use of zinc or copper, earlier productions of this time.The original glass lined interieur makes the bath watertight and gives it a smooth and uniform surface .we owe this fabrication to,

The Ceramic Bath

o HISTORY Manufacturing : The bathtub "EARTHENWARE" is born in England who knows when control of both porcelain dishes in the manufacture of sinks. In a development perspective, the English sanitary engineers opt for the realization of a different type of cast iron tub that inspired marble baths. The first baths were first made of clay and sandstone or granite porcelain known for their strength and fineness of their grain succeeded him. French sanitary engineers, then open this new process, measuring the interest of the smooth both outdoors and indoors and, charmed by the simplicity of the shape of the new baths. The milky whiteness allows to consider the harmonization of all the devices making up the bathroom.Though costly, the French import sanitary engineers of England, tiled bath until the early 1900s.
